Italian vodka: what makes it unique

Vodka is not a spirit without character. Blu Lie's Italian vodka is born in Trieste with one clear idea: to let the wheat speak, not the alcohol.

Italian vodka: what makes it unique

Where it comes from

Spring water from Val Rosandra, the karst gorge at the gates of Trieste, filtered for kilometres through limestone. With 100% Italian wheat and high-quality alcohol it gives life to an exceptional spirit, with just 0.1% sugar.

The method

Three column distillations and three water purifications — demineralisation, reverse osmosis and activated-carbon filtration. During distillation 0.1% of natural wheat aroma is used: that is what brings the scent of grain to the nose, while of the ethanol there is no trace. The result is one of the most delicate and rounded vodkas you can drink.

Recognised worldwide

The Vodka Italiana has won three international awards, including a Master at The Vodka Masters — the top step, awarded blind by a jury of professionals.

How to drink it

Neat and ice-cold, to taste its roundness. Or as the clean base of any cocktail: the more neutral and precise the spirit, the sharper the drink.
